Cairns Better Care provides a range of supports and services that assist with your everyday needs and contribute to your goals. We endeavour to meet the highest ethical standard whilst providing both essential and non-essential supports. We are experienced in helping people with disability get the most out of life. Whether it’s living more independently, assistance with personal needs, getting involved in sports or community activities, or simply getting to and from work, our passionate local team can offer experience and understanding.
We can assist with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable you to live as autonomously as possible.
Daily Tasks/Shared Living We can support you to live on your own or in a shared independent living arrangement with others of your choice.
Household Tasks We provide a range of household services depending upon participant needs such as; meal preparation and delivery, house or garden maintenance, general cleaning and laundry.
Participate Community We help you to increase your capacity to actively participate in the community and make friends.
Group/Center Activities We offer varieties of capacity building, social, creative and active leisure group that can help you find new friendships and learn new skills. We can assist and support you in either centre or group based activities.
Community Participation We arrange community gatherings/events, so you can socialise with one another whilst participating in fun and exciting activities
